Class Dojo
What is Class Dojo?
Class Dojo is an interactive reward system that allows parents to see what and how well their children are achieving in school. Families simply download the Class Dojo app and request an individual log in from school. After parents have signed up, they will be able to view their child’s involvement through the ‘Class Story’ feature. Class Story will be updated regularly by the class teacher and will include key events and photographs.
Class Dojo Points
Class Dojo also informs parents when their child is rewarded with a Dojo point, and what it is for. Dojo points are given for a variety of reasons and encourage children to follow the school rules, demonstrate learning powers and work hard.
Class Dojo Messaging
Messaging is another integral part of Dojo and parents and teachers can communicate with each other very easily. We will share class announcements and reminders, school events, learning activities, notification of changes in routine and any one-to -one messages that need to be shared.
Messaging through Dojo should not be used for sensitive or behavioural issues. Parents should not report child absence through Dojo.
Class Dojo Messaging helps teachers and parents safely and privately communicate with each other in real time. All messages sent by parents on Class Dojo Messaging can only be viewed by the teacher. No other parent (even your child's other parent or guardians) can view your messages.
