On Friday 6th February, our pupils took part in the NSPCC’s 2026 Number Day, bringing maths, music, and rock‑star energy together for a fantastic cause.
Throughout the day, children joined a nationwide Times Table Rock Stars battle, as well as competing within school for the honour of becoming Nessfield’s Top Rock Legend. The excitement across classrooms was incredible, with pupils showing amazing determination and enthusiasm in every challenge.
To support the NSPCC, our pupils were invited to donate £1 and come dressed as rock stars—either inspired by their favourite real‑life musician or styled as their Times Table Rock Stars avatar. The creativity on display was outstanding, with everything from colourful wigs and face paint to leather jackets and home‑designed costumes filling the corridors.
We are delighted to share that, thanks to the generosity of our school community, we raised a brilliant £187.93 for the NSPCC. This donation will help the charity continue its vital work supporting children and young people across the UK.
It was a wonderful day filled with fun, confidence, and a love of maths. We are incredibly proud of all our Nessfield rock stars!
