Beckfoot Trust is an organisation that links a group of local Bradford schools together so that they can collectively improve the life chances for young people within their schools. Our aim is to create a group of truly remarkable schools each with a genuine comprehensive intake. They will be wonderful places for young people to learn and grow up in. We want to make a difference. We want to create something special.

Children & Learning

Ash 4Miss Cowgill is the teacher in Ash Class with Miss Moore as our Early Years Practitioner. We love all things creative especially if it involves glitter and getting messy! One of our favourite parts of the school day is when we share stories and immerse ourselves in the charAsh 1acters and their events. Currently, our favourite children's author is Julia Donaldson. We love a challenge and we are always looking for new ways to learn.

We have lots of different resources in our classroom from a kitchen, dolls, paint, games, Knex, books and so much more! We sit down before lunch and talk about our Learning Challenge together on the carpet. Then it’s lunch time! We all wash our hands and walk sensibly to the dining hall. We’re very good at using our manners.Ash 3 After some fresh air we complete some number work and then it’s time to get busy again! Once we have tidied everything away, we finish the day with story time and get ready to go home.
